Mark L. Barkley

Mr. Barkley graduated from Bloomfield High School (Indiana) in 1982 and received his Bachelors degree from Ball State University in 1986. Additionally, he is a graduate from the Graduate School of Banking in Wisconsin. Mark has served as the President of Region 6 Indiana Bankers Association, as well as serving on the Board of Directors for the Indiana Bankers Association.

Before he began his banking career, Mark worked in the real estate industry and is a licensed real estate broker. Mark has been with Bloomfield State Bank since 1990, and currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Bloomfield State Bank and it's holding company, Universal Bancorp.

Mr. Barkley is active in many civic and trade organizations and has presided as President over the Bloomfield Rotary and Chamber of Commerce.
